Muang Ngoi Neua

Stretching along the Nam Ou River, Muang Ngoi Neua is surrounded by majestic mountains which making is a picturesque landscape.
This village was completely destroyed during the Second Indochina War. Later on, it was rebuilt and began to attract tourists since 90s, especially those who seeking for wildness and calm.
A small trek will allow you to visit two villages of Hmong and Khmu people and another one will lead you to many beautiful waterfalls. You can also discover the remains of three ancient Buddhist monasteries which were destroyed during the war time.
